Rhodes South is the latest offering from one of Britain's Top Chefs, Gary Rhodes, located in the magnificent grounds of the Christchurch Harbour Hotel in Dorset, with stunning views over Mudeford Quay, Rhodes South is the UK’s first carbon positive restaurant and was built using sustainably sourced materials. The collaboration with Michelin star chef, Gary Rhodes, has created a restaurant which ensures that guests and visitors to the area can experience excellent food in beautiful surroundings.
Rhodes South offers delicious classic British cuisine with a French influence and the menu features popular dishes from Gary Rhodes’ extensive culinary repertoire. The superb waterside location is reflected in the menu with the freshest seafood and a wide range of seasonal dishes created using as much local produce as possible. An extensive, but carefully selected wine list complements the exquisite cuisine and the restaurant’s sommelier is on hand to offer expert advice.
Perched on the edge of the harbour with expansive views, Rhodes South makes a subtle, environmentally-friendly design statement. The timber structure with floor-to-ceiling glass windows blends with its natural environment as well as maximising the sea views for guests. Rhodes South is a romantic setting for sunset dining as well as the ideal location to just drop in throughout the day or evening, or treat yourself to a light lunch or an evening meal. The 72-seater restaurant is open five days a week Tuesday to Saturday, for lunch or dinner.
Please note Rhodes South is closed from Sunday 3rd January 2010 and re-opening on Thursday 14th January 2010.
